Top o’the morning to you <3

It’s St. Patrick’s Day.

Of course you know that, but maybe you don’t know how much I love this day where there are no gifts to buy and all we have to do is wear green and look at shamrocks and read all the Irish blessings everyone has posted.

Which is helpful for my mood since I have been on hold with Whirlpool for a rather long time and it’s not looking good for our washer that is just a mere 38 days over the warranty.

And no, I do not have the extended warranty. Thank you very much.

So while I listen to annoying wait music, I am sharing a wee bit of my thoughts that are gathering wool before the electronic techno-beat provided by the service hold department drains the last bit of joy out of me.

Our first St. Patrick’s Day in this house Russ bought me a shamrock at Kroger.

It has had at least nine lives under my less than green thumb and has even had offspring as the original pot ended up bearing up some stems as well long after it was abandoned for a larger transplant pot.

I wasn’t anticipating such warm sun while we were gone last week. Our poor little Irish plant was looking hopeless when we returned home. But thanks to some sips of water the last few days, all is well for this special day.

We are much like the oxalis (the real name for the shamrock).

We need love and water and the right amount of light and rest.

Be good to yourself today and to those around you.

No wilting allowed on St. Patty’s Day!

And be sure to wear your green…<3
