Rainy days and Mondays...actually am ok with them

Hello and happy Monday.

It is rainy and windy here in the Midwest, which always has me with Karen Carpenter’s “Rainy Days and Mondays” playing on repeat, except I am not down. And you are welcome if you can’t get it out of your head now…sorry…misery loves company.

We were greeted this morning with a photo of our nephew holding his first born son. Rachel said it best…how can he be a dad when I remember him being born??? But he is and we are over the moon already for this little guy.

Since this is St Patrick’s Day week, and I am brewing on some things that have a little more meat to them, I hope you will enjoy a week of blessings from the Irish.

I may add a thought here and there but sure tis going to be mostly the blessing of the Irish on ye <3

So to kick us off, here is a perfect one for today

May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow.
May the soft winds freshen your spirit.
May the sunshine brighten your heart.
May burdens of the day rest lightly on you.
