Race to end slavery 2018 <3
It’s that time of year again…but Team Reimer is short a runner.
Seems the older of the two…and that’d be me…is out with plantar fasciitis and some kind of back mess o’pain that is forcing me to be a spectator this year while my sweet husband…
will carry the burden on April 27th at the U of I for the Illinois marathon.
He won’t be toting wiggly boys and he will be doing the 5K and he is my hero.
Would certainly love if you would click on this link here and donate to his page….or donate to WBGL directly and support the fight against human trafficking.
I just did a search of the IJM website and there is an estimated 40 million PLUS people around the world who are enslaved today.
Young children…men…women…crying out or just hopelessly silent.
In remote areas of countries around the world and people, wake up…right in our own big progressive cities and our little all-American towns.
Some organization and people I know who are making a difference, whether through legal help and rescue or through love, support and ministry to the vulnerable in populations include:

I heard a comedian recently say that he doesn’t understand people sending their thoughts and prayers to those in need.
The prayers he can understand because they do something but our thoughts…hmmmm….our thoughts only benefit someone if they prompt us to act.
It is our prayers and our response in action that brings change to this world.
So pray for those who are victims of the greed and lust of others and then ask God what He would have you do…whether it is to give to one of these organizations or to find a place to volunteer your time…pray that our eyes would not turn away from those who need people of influence to speak out for them.
Blessings on you <3
