Life lately…

Just checking in and saying hi. 

Do you ever have times where everything just seems to go at a normal pace and then all of a sudden the pace is anything but normal? 

I am there right now. 

A lot going on, and yet I think of this small corner of the internet where I hope you all show up and I want to make sure I do as well. 

In that vein and the fact that I need to leave the house in about 15 minutes, here are some life lately pictures from us. 

Fall football is something we enjoy and this was us when the Illini beat Michigan.

We have no photos from last weekend and some team named the Ducks.

Dropped Joel off at a friend’s house and this was their pumpkin art. So cute it has to be preserved here on the Journey.

This little goober turned NINE over the weekend.

He loves his birthday and I love that he does.

The boy also loves jerseys from every team that plays every sport and his dad made sure he got a Harper one this year with a matching hat.

It’s hard to get a photo where these two are not moving.

His “Teen-ness” continues to grow taller and older looking every other day.

But he still comes in for a hug regularly and we will take it.

Absolutely we will take it.
