In the eye of the beholder…

Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder…

That it is not the object being viewed…but the one viewing…that assigns the worth and value.

Beauty? or a craft project gone rogue?

Nothing you would purchase or even consider keeping if you got in one of those white elephant gift exchanges at this year’s holiday party, right?

But for some of us around here…we see…

and….

and….

and….

so…yes…

with eyes of love and echoes of joy…we see beauty

And often I forget that is why He came….

Into the middle of our messes and our cheap glitter..into our best efforts that somehow fall short of our lofty dreams…into our homes and our families and hearts…

He came…because He sees with eyes of love

And our worth…my worth…your worth…is in the eye of the Beholder <3
