Happy Monday <3

Oh man, I hope you all enjoyed the photos and words last week. It took a lot of my time and yours and I am going to try and go easy on all of us today. 

Our family was scattered to the four winds this weekend. Russ and I attended a beautiful wedding in Nashville. It was just the sweetest event and included so many church and life-together friends from over the years. 

Zach was running the Chicago marathon as well as a dear friend of our Sarah’s. So Sarah, Graham and Rachel met up in the madness and cheered their people on. We were tracking them and two other sweet runners as we drove home yesterday. 

The grandkiddos were divided up hither and yon with friends. John was traveling between Waco and Austin. Jack and Rocco were holding down the fort in St. Louis. 

Sarah is making her way home today, Last night, when I knew 95% of us were in our places and she was tucked away with friends in their hotel, my heart breathed a sigh of relief. 

I saw a meme that said something about being a mom means knowing your heart will be walking around outside of your body for the rest of your life and I can say I have not heard a more truthful on the internet for a long while. 

It remains a mystery, as well, how the heart can be divided into so many people and yet remain whole. Love multiplies, this I know.
