Countdown to Christmas 2024…Day 16

Happy Monday!

I wanted to give you a P.S. to the post I sent you on December 5th. 

I wrote it after what I thought was going to be the last Christmas Walk for the little shoppe I have worked in for the past ten years. 

My dear friend and “boss” had put a sign up on the door in the late summer announcing her retirement after the first of the year and a hope that someone would be interested in purchasing the store to carry on the next chapter of Tournesol. 

Many customers pined away with us, hoping and praying this would happen. 

Several seriously sat down and tried to figure out if they could make it happen, including Russ and me. 

And in the eleventh hour, the morning after the Christmas Walk, the new owner told her parents she wants the shoppe and her husband supports her.

So we have been elated and ecstatic end oh so very grateful that this well-loved store will be passed to the next generation of this creative family I love dearly. 

Kim and I will be co-workers in the new Tournesol. 

God worked it out in the best possible way and we can’t stop smiling. 

The ownership of the store will change completely after the first of the year and I can’t wait to work for my new boss. 

Miracles do happen.
