Can’t pour out what isn’t poured in…
As we come to the end of the week, my last verse that I breathe in and breathe out in prayer is a reminder found in Romans 5: 1-5.
In my words…
Since we have been justified before God,
through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for us…
and since we now stand in the grace that redeemed us…
even though we did absolutely nothing to deserve it,
but yet obtained it by receiving this gift of salvation…
and even with knowledge that….
THAT faith with which we received salvation was also a gift of the same GRACE…
we NOW are overjoyed with HOPE in the glory of God.
And on top of all of THAT…
we also rejoice and find great joy in …
and please let this sink in….
Yes, we find ourselves celebrating as a SUCCESS…
our …
great troubles AND our sufferings…
because we know that these bring perseverance…
and perseverance proves our character…
and when our character is proved we find HOPE…
and this HOPE…
it never
ever
disappoints…
BECAUSE…
The LOVE of God has been POURED right down into the deepest places of our hearts
by the Holy Spirit
Who was given to us
when we received Christ as our Lord and Savior.
And so …I can breathe this prayer…
Lord, pour Your love into every dry place…
every nook and cranny…
every wound…
every scar…
every dream…
every hope…
POUR
YOUR
LOVE
INTO
MY
HEART <3
God bless you as you open your heart wide…
wider…
and wider still….
until you are filled with the fullness of God’s love.
and then…
let His love flow out of you …
rivers of living water for this dry and weary land.
Have a blessed weekend and I’ll see you on Monday <3

Love this visual——pour your love into every dry place. Makes me think of the water you pour into a potted plant filling the dry soil and how His love can fill us.
Beautiful picture right there, Nancy…how those roots soak it up and give life to the plant..and the plants breathe oxygen back out to us…give us shade…God’s love poured in to be poured out <3
