And that’s a wrap on 2023
Just a bunch of photos of how we ended the year celebrating Christmas together. Thankful for the family we have. They are good people. Enjoy the random snaps and comments.
We enjoyed the Christmas Eve service at church with John. Always a beautiful time but this year was particularly tender.
Christmas Day was a two part experience starting with the first round of stockings after lunch with John, Sarah and Jack. Rocco loved his reindeer. I am holding a good record on that score so far.
Next round of Christmas started later in the day when the rest of the family arrived. The vote on going oldest to youngest or youngest to oldest went in Caroline’s favor and she got to go first.
Joel seemed happy with his “ramen noodles” which also double as a hairpiece. So that’s cool.
On a related theme, he helped his dad open gifts, which seemed to all be food items as well. Don’t know if he scored any treats or not.
Next was dinner, where everyone indulged my love of poppers and crowns.
Even kept them on to eat. So sweet, they are <3
After dinner, we were treated to a concert and later Tia gave the younger three violin lessons. Emmett seems to be a natural. Which surprised no one as he seems to have a knack for music <3
Tia wanted a pic with G as she thinks this may be the last one where she is taller than him.
and of course, our Rachel girl made sure we got a family photo. Just missing Lucy. And the reindeer. But otherwise, pretty near perfect.
This is us, 2023.
Thank you for journeying with me this year. You are a blessing with your comments and encouragement. I wish you all a Happy New Year and the best of health and prosperity, growth and healing, love, laughter and enough tears to keep your hearts tender.
You are a blessing.
See you next year <3
