Water, water everywhere here, but not there
Because this …..
is where I live.
But this ….
is where I have been……
I notice things I never saw before.
We have a team returning, sometime in the next few hours, from 10 days in Kenya.
They have traveled half way around the world and they will never be the same.
A visit to a local park in Central Illinois….
is held against the memory of…..
Where it really IS possible to bathe in a gallon of water
That is then used to give some poor plant a drink….
Because no drop
is wasted….
And when we have people over ….
I can’t pour this down the drain when they leave because….
I remember….
how precious….
the water is….
And I am thankful.
Thankful for the water that flows so abundantly where I live.
Thankful for the opportunity to see beyond the green grass of my yard.
To have walked in theirs….
I have seen the Living Water flow out of hearts that see so very little drinking, bathing, watering water…..
and I will never be the same <3
Amazing perspective.
I am honored <3
