Because we are due for a little bit of random…
I just spent some serious time in serious prayer and I have all kinds of stuff swirling around…and it absolutely would not be fair to any of you to spill all of that out until it gets sifted through God’s filter..
so this morning you get three randoms to ponder…
First…
Kroger has kiddie sized carts
…and while every mom of a small child just heaved a heavy sigh…
all grandparents and grandchildren went wooot!!!!
Because…
that’s what I’m talkin about <3
Second…I am so glad I didn’t buy into the pressure to bulk purchase “Forever” stamps back when they were 49 cents…because…price decrease?
Seriously?
Perhaps someone should have throught through this kind of “Forever” promise and the trust issues that price cuts can induce…
just a thought.
Third
and last of all…
In the on-going 2016 Purge of the House clutter, I came across a half sheet of paper in a box of pictures.
The subject matter had been typed on a manual typewriter – my mom’s favorite method of communication (if you don’t count a ga-zillion little scraps of paper where she jotted her thoughts in SHORTHAND!!!)
She had recorded some things I had said at age 3 that I guess she thought were cute.
Personally I couldn’t get over what she named the goldfish…
I don’t know…
I guess you have to be my mom to see the charm…
and yes…
they called me Laura Jean…
all the time…
if they weren’t calling me Pearl…
don’t ask
I sent the pic to our kids and John’s comment was “I can’t picture you at Emmett’s age. I just can’t.”
So of course, I had to…
wow…I wonder how the next generation will communicate?
God bless you and I hope you have a wonderfully wacky Wednesday <3
