Take a deep breath because….

According to the devotional I have been using this year…I just began Week 46 of 2015.

W E E K …… 46….

Even I can do the math on that.

The end of 2015 is a blink away.

So in honor of this startling and alarming piece of information, here are some random thoughts to end the week:

<3  I guess it is too late to get it together for the year, but I sure want to make the most of   what is left.

<3  Life is accelerating at a clip that makes me evaluate where I spend my time and focus with a lot more intention.

<3  I guess I can quit complaining about how early stores put out their Christmas things since…wow…it really is time to start thinking about that.

<3  Today….now…would be a good time to get busy on all those projects I set as goals for 2015…since the clock is ticking…

<3  I don’t want to waste another minute kicking myself for what I didn’t get done and instead celebrate what I did accomplish.

and best of all…

<3  A year ago, we didn’t even know we were going to have this little dreamboat…so who knows what God has in store for us in 2016…well, except Him…He knows..

So I guess I just pray…

Lord, help me to make the most of the opportunities You have given me today. Give me wisdom to choose wisely how I spend my time and resources. Bless my efforts to be a blessing to others. Prepare my heart to enter the final stretch of 2015 that I would bring glory and honor to Your Name in all that I do. Thank you for Your lavish love that can not be earned, won or improved upon by my performance. Teach me to love others the way You love me.
