Post Countdown Randoms…

This is a bit of the vibe of Christmas this year. The elf at the grands house joined the club as various members took their turn with some kind of virus. Thus our Christmas looked a little different so here are some randoms.

Random #1

Rachel brought the two healthy ones down for Christmas Eve lunch. Someone who shall remain nameless but is wearing a ball cap at the table, was full of pent up energy and kept us all laughing.

Also Tia was channeling my mom who would pose with a fork midair when having her photo taken at a meal.

We missed Uncle John, Zach, Emmett and Caroline. But we get what we get and we don’t pitch a fit.

I got the genius idea this year to invite these two to come up with Christmas Eve dinner since it would just be the four of us.

We sat at the kitchen bar and watched them work their magic.

The results speak for themselves…

Random #4

The colony in sick bay was well enough to open their presents and stockings, and this little man was needing some diversions.

So we loaded up the sleigh and took our gifts to them yesterday afternoon.

We missed the energy of a recuperating Zach, Emmett and Caroline but they rallied enough to open gifts and have a couple of snacks.

Short visit but worth every second.

Now the parents are back at work and this is what we have currently happening. We are waiting to see how the two blondes who are still sleeping feel before we plan our day.

Or we will just take some naps…
