Randoms for Wednesday <3
Sharing some Randoms in the middle of a busy week. Hope you all are doing well <3
Random #1
We got to watch a girls volleyball game Tuesday night and I had forgotten how much I love that sport. After the noise and pounding of so many basketballs the past few months, it is such a quiet and buzzer free breath of fresh air.
Our two girls played in Junior High and it is the one sport I actually liked in high school. I played intramural in college and Russ and I played sand volley ball as a young married couple our first few years here in town.
We even had Rachel in a stroller for a few including the first ever mud volleyball game during the city summer celebration. After she became mobile, we gave it up. Maybe they will have a seniors team some day and I can get back in the game…ha.

Except for three small fake evergreen trees with lights tucked in corners around here and one bunch of poinsettias that I need a step ladder to remove from the top of the cubbies, winter has moved down to the ping pong table and will be put away this week.
Yes!!!!
The shamrocks signs and Irish blessing are hung and I have gold and green coins scattered here and there. The bunnies and spring flowers are not far behind.
Random #3
John got us a puzzle board thing for jigsaw puzzles and it’s so nice. I can fold it up and put it away if I need table space. There are separate panels to hold extra pieces that fold up in the main body of the case.
It’s the best.
Here is the one he got us if you are interested in something of the sort. I asked for the 1000 piece size as that is the biggest we ever do.
I do not get any kickbacks from purchases. It’s just to help puzzle-loving friends simplify their life.

Caroline said the funniest thing the other day and I can’t stop thinking of it.
She told me she was going to paint super glue on her tummy and then she gave me a big hug and said now I was stuck to her and we would have to go everywhere together forever.
I laugh every time I think of it.
I also kind of wish it had worked.

Tuesday was a fairly warm day with temperatures near 50 by noon.
As I drove home, the only snow left along the neighborhoods was where the houses or a fence cast a shadow. All the grass was visible except in these rectangular places of shade.
And I thought to myself how important it is for me to bring all the cold, hard places that sometimes lurk in my heart into the light of Christ and the warmth of His love.
That’s all for today.
Spread some kindness and warmth on those around you.
It’s contagious <3
